Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cool-assed bed.

Seems they're not officially letting us go early. Since our last reorg we've lost jeans Fridays and this will be the second pre-holiday day where we've been expected to stay the duration. It's possible they think any of us are doing productive work between three and five, but I'll be damned if I get why we can't wear jeans on Friday anymore.

Pfft.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Generally, I have a good work schedual. Part time- can't really beat it. I get to work 5 to 9 today. at a public library. think about it. very very boring. and since the local coffee shop is closed. DH and I are doing breakfast (pancakes and bacon) at our house. tomorrow - 8am. really there are a few more things I could do tonight. but instead, I get to watch people sit at computers.

I'm about to bail, and if the head holds up, arrange this evening's exercise. The only things left to do right now involve tidying.

That's just not fair.

I have things I'm supposed to be working on, but it's not my fault the client's delays caused the schedule to slip a week. If they'd met the schedule my working a 2-day week this week wouldn't be a problem. Ah, well.

Fuckit. I'm off to Gap to find a new pair of jeans. Ta.

What is even happening?

Calli, I just wanted to cast a late vote in favor of the graham cracker crust for cheesecake. Yum.

The magnet bed is awesome, but I think also maybe scary. I don't know why, just a vague idea in the back of my brain that it mightn't be healthy.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'd want some serious long-term study into the effects on brain electricity and circulation before sleeping in that strong a magnetic field for any length of time. I know those shoe magnets are supposed to be beneficial, but they have to be several orders of magnitude weaker than what would be needed to suspend a bed.

I just want a bed that doesn't result in numb arms or achy hips when I stay in it too long. Stupid body. Of course, maybe I should just get up, but where is the solace in that?!? The cats certainly don't help. Half the time, I wake up pinned.

I really wonder about zero-g and sleeping. Sometimes that seems ideal, but I also like that heavy sinking feeling as well as the cuddle factor. I am one who could fall asleep in the tub, were it big enough.

So it sounded like a fireworks stand caught fire earlier tonight. Combined with thunder, Devi is freaked. Tomorrow is going to be so fun.

Already getting gubenatorial ads. Want to stab tv. However, considering it flips out when it is over 80 (seems to lose brightness so everything is in red tones) not advisable. Of course, I only paid $40 for it, so.....

eta: jeebus, I'm serial posting again. Me=lame

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor Devi.

I am not looking forward to tomorrow night either, even with the kitty prozac.
