So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

So it sounded like a fireworks stand caught fire earlier tonight. Combined with thunder, Devi is freaked. Tomorrow is going to be so fun.

Already getting gubenatorial ads. Want to stab tv. However, considering it flips out when it is over 80 (seems to lose brightness so everything is in red tones) not advisable. Of course, I only paid $40 for it, so.....

eta: jeebus, I'm serial posting again. Me=lame

Poor Devi.

I am not looking forward to tomorrow night either, even with the kitty prozac.

But I can sleep in?! (well, ok, so I wake up, shoot the cat and then go back to bed.) So why go to bed now? (though I will, shortly.) At least I've shut off the tv.

Devi retreated to the cat carrier (!) so she'd probably ok for now. Lee, maybe dose both of them

Perkins the cat is usually okay with the fireworks, as long as he can hide under the bed, so I don't think I'll need to dose him. If Ozzie goes too nuts, maybe I can hide under the bed too.

Really, my cats suffer loud noises well. Mister Kitty, well, I'm not entirely sure he hears them. If he does, he doesn't care. Devi is my jumpy one (as people can attest- she hides from new people) but her MO is just to retreat and make me feel bad that she's freaked out.

I hope the drugs result in a mellow cat during the explosions, Lee.

Thanks.

I hope Devi doesn't make you feel too bad.

She's GOOD at the guilt. It's because she's so cute and wee and really cuddly.

Aren't all cats?

eta: Okay, maybe not the cuddly part you added. More the good at the guilt stuff.

OK, cuddly when she wants...which covers your edit. Devi is a cat only a few can love. She's cuddly with me at 7 am.
