msbelle,

Were you with the boys? Because, if so, I believe I may have bought that lime olive oil!

I'm hoping to head up there myself late August. I so miss that place!

As for the oil, sad to say, it's something I stock up on whenever I'm in San Francisco. They sell it at the Ferry Building. But you get it on-line here: Stonehouse California Olive Oil

Persian Lime is my favorite I think, but the Blood Orange is also fab.

Couldyou make it by putting some lime peel in a regular bottle of oil, or is it fancier than that?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cool-assed bed.

Seems they're not officially letting us go early. Since our last reorg we've lost jeans Fridays and this will be the second pre-holiday day where we've been expected to stay the duration. It's possible they think any of us are doing productive work between three and five, but I'll be damned if I get why we can't wear jeans on Friday anymore.

Pfft.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Generally, I have a good work schedual. Part time- can't really beat it. I get to work 5 to 9 today. at a public library. think about it. very very boring. and since the local coffee shop is closed. DH and I are doing breakfast (pancakes and bacon) at our house. tomorrow - 8am. really there are a few more things I could do tonight. but instead, I get to watch people sit at computers.

I'm about to bail, and if the head holds up, arrange this evening's exercise. The only things left to do right now involve tidying.

That's just not fair.

I have things I'm supposed to be working on, but it's not my fault the client's delays caused the schedule to slip a week. If they'd met the schedule my working a 2-day week this week wouldn't be a problem. Ah, well.

Fuckit. I'm off to Gap to find a new pair of jeans. Ta.

What is even happening?

Calli, I just wanted to cast a late vote in favor of the graham cracker crust for cheesecake. Yum.

The magnet bed is awesome, but I think also maybe scary. I don't know why, just a vague idea in the back of my brain that it mightn't be healthy.
