Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

Art Crawl!!!

I've already left the house and returned. Don't want to leave the house again.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Don't go, sumi!!

Thank goodness I didn't leave the house, since now I get to listen to David Sedaris talk about Christmas abroad and, I'm pretty sure, the six to eight black men who will kick your ass. (Edit: YES!!)

Oh, I have a question. I'm going to a party tomorrow for a classmate. It's a combination graduation/next endeavor celebration thrown by her parents. Do I bring a gift?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Bring a gift if you like, I say, but I wouldn't think it's required.

I will be leaving soon, to go to stretch class. DH will take the kids to MiL's pool. I'm sad I'll be missing the pool play, but glad they get to play in the pool.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I wish the pools in Burbank were open. Em LOVES the water. She tries to swim in the bathtub, if it's full enough. Her godparents bought her a little pool to play in in the yard.

makes note to buy swimming diapers

I love that story.

Okay, I left the house, got pretty wet, returned, and am not leaving the house for the rest of the day.

I thought I was going to have to leave the house, but I just found out I don't have to. Whee! Except now I'm thinking of things I might like to leave the house for... like, maybe a movie. I got all cleaned and prepped in anticipation of having to leave, so I might as well make use of it for something fun, no?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I may leave the house too, since I really must get to the dry cleaners today, and I should get to Best Buy as well.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Jesse, I haven't installed it yet, but I got something from Home Depot that's supposed to help support the a/c. This: [link]

ETA: the link doesn't work, apparently. It's an A/C support that's on the website.

Good call.

There's a whole website of pictures of stuff people use to prop up their air conditioners, instead of buying things like that, bon. It's very funny.

I'm just going to stick to my original plan of bringing bubbly to the party. Oh, which I have to get today, since I don't think my local liquor store is open tomorrow.
