See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

DEADLINES?!?!

explodes

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Ha ha -- I just realized I have a 7/10 deadline, and not only is there the holiday on Tuesday, I'm out of the office Friday and Monday. Ha Ha Ha FUCK.

Oops. Though I suppose better to realize it now than Thursday.

Not that I'm saying I've seen a better one, but it just didn't come across as remotely funny to me.

Of course, I thought the "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!" video was pretty dumb, too, so apparently I'm a poor judge of superhero parody. Or something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It went too long, IMO. I'd have wound it up after the Negro.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

That's a good idea. msbelle! Intercom! I just have to write down her number, as it is one of the few lines that doesn't ring to my phone. I am back-up to a lot of phone answerers, so I have all these lines that I never have to answer unless the other phone answerers are out of the office.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Strength and peace to you and yours, Nilly. I hope things work out for your brother to come home quickly and that your friend's illness is quickly taken care of and no harm comes to the baby.

I should have said: A LARGE deadline, involving many people and many parts, and we only just decided to do it today, and the other key person gets back to her office tomorrow, after 2.5 weeks away.

Worth 1000 destroys your childhood.

I am lucky in that I get to set my own deadlines. It sucks when the scope keeps changing every time I think I've got it nailed.

We've had to threaten mass rebellion when they want to schedule a major software install within 2 days of a holiday. We got royally screwed on one that was done right before the xmas holiday. At one point, a boss told the developers that if they held that schedule, his staff would be instructed to not come to work that day, effectively making the install impossible.

Nilly, I hope when you get up in the morning, things look a lot better.

Devi seems to have forgiven me for shutting her in the closet last night. And there is no pee smell, thank goodness.
