We've had so much rain the past weekend, the froggies and toads have come out. I go outside and I hear the wheeerk?wheeerk?

In NM, everytime it rained, there was a cacophony of toad singing. It makes me happy. Go wee froggie! Procreate!

Also? My bed is so sexy. Dev was clawing at my sheets on the corners, which, being $70 sheets, annoyed me. So I carved up a box and coated the pieces in foil and shoved them over the corners. It crinkles. Ah well, it should cure her.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I decided I couldn't deal with the cats for a little while, so I am locked into the guest room, Perkins is locked into my bedroom, and Ozzie has the rest of the house.

I'm getting stuff done, at least.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Two more krav calls. I should really get a life, but I don't know where they're kept.

NOW the pork chops. With a mushroom stuffing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

OMG! THAT is where I know Diane Farr from!!!

Me too! I couldn't figure out why she looked so familiar when she joined Numb3rs.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

move out and draw fire

Diane Farr was on Loveline with Dr. Drew and (at some point) Adam Corolla. I guess it started out as a radio show

I feel old.

I miss toad singing!

Swouncing

msbelle, I hope you feel better soon.

Also, the reason I skipped to post now: since my browser keeps crashing today for no reason and the last time somebody tried to fix something on this computer, I didn't have internet access for a few days, I'll post already now that according to the Buffista Calendar, tomorrow, the 27th, will be JZ's birthday, and the following day, the 28th, will be a double Buffista birthday, of both DavidS and Deb Grabien (and her DH). I hope I'll be able to happy-birthday directly to their screens, but even if not, early wishes for all of them!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Slate magazine just redesigned, and it kind of sucks. A little nicer to read, but a lot harder to navigate.
