They
might
sell it. Unless it went from maybe to definite between last night and this morning. Which, in LA, totally possible.
But I am going on July 6th since I am NOT WORKING! WHOOOOOT!
Poor Joe. He'll be at work and I'll be abandoning my daughter at school for the day.

Hey, people know who I am, right? I don't need to put my old user name in my tagline, do I?
I have lost the link where I read it, but I'll go with might.
I guess they've been having a lot of issues with gang fights and low attendance as a result. It's crazy to me. You never hear of Cedar Point having those issues. Different part of the country, I know. But, still craxy.
Apparently they're closing the LA-area Six Flags Magic Mountain. I've never been, so it's all my fault.
I have a lot of great memories there! I love Magic Mountain. But agree with this:
Shapiro said in the call with investors Thursday that Magic Mountain is a sale candidate partly because of its rowdy teenage atmosphere.
Rowdy is right.
You never hear of Cedar Point having those issues.
Yeah, it's nicer, right? But apparently they probably aren't a buyer because they just bought Paramount's parks.
I thought I had fond memories of Magic Mountain, but when I started actually trying to remember those memories, I think they're of Raging Waters.
My mother took me and 5 friends to Magic Mountain for my birthday one year.
My 13th birthday.
She was the only adult.
I'm pretty sure she won't be sorry to see it go.
But apparently they probably aren't a buyer because they just bought Paramount's parks.
If Cedar Fair Ltd. were to buy just Magic Mountain, they would then have the most coasters than any chain ever ever ever. Plus, they'd then own Tatsu - the new flying coaster - which they lost the bid on a few years ago for Cedar Point, IIRC.
