Just following up on yesterday's very pleasant food discussion: inspired, we went to John's pizza last night but Bob wouldn't let me get anchovies. But I did have corn gelato after, which was delicious. And then a stomachache from eating too much.

The fellow bellowed (former Marine general, no less) "I should pee in YOUR yard!" I allowed as how he should, he really should. He seemed mollified. I was mortified. It was 'fied.
I think my response would have been "if your dog pees in my yard it's tit-for-tat. If YOU pee in my yard, it's indecent exposure."

Corn is very sweet, though. It's practically fruit! According to the Argentines at Cones, corn gelato is "Brazil's favorite." ETA: it has a very mild flavor and is flecked with tiny corn pieces.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.
Called the doctor who did my ankle surgery to look into getting an appointment, and he's retired. Oy.
