Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

Oh, and don't pay the ferryman until he gets you to the other side....

Hah, your earworm was defeated... by your own tag!

Evil always contains the seeds of its own destruction.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Heh.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Thanks, brenda.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

sarameg's soup story totally made me laugh.

Scariest thing I've ever been served? Large, neatly trimmed squares of cold, coagulated pork fat. No, I didn't actually eat it.

ita, I feel sorry for the bloaty-faced mens. But ya know, they also could have put John Travolta on that list.

Yay! I get to leave work 15 minutes early!

'Cept I'm gonna go meet this guy I'm doing some consulting for....

I've told you over and over and over again, my friend: I don't believe you lost the seeds of destruction.

Hmph. I have to stick around longer because I have to pick up the cat.

Burrell, that whole trip provided many truly odd meal experiences. I think it must have been symptomatic of the death throes of the USSR.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Did Mr. Kitty spend the day at the vet, Sarameg?

sarameg - Jun 21, 2006 12:54:59 pm PDT #3238 of 10002

Two! I took him in yesterday morning (lucky cat, he had working air conditioning) and they've been tweaking his insulin. Vet said in passing that he'd upped the dose, which didn't surprise me. Just don't know by how much yet. I'd been seeing the signs, or rather, going through appalling amounts of cat litter.

OK, I'm going to pull a msbelle and go get BK. Hopefully it won't congeal too badly in the time it takes to see the vet and then get home.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

One of my most memorable meals in the USSR was a bowl of oatmeal. It was delicious.
