I realized that I was thinking about Wilford Brimley for no apparent reason.
He scares me. He was in some movie or tv show in which he played a really mean old man and that stuck with me. Now whenever he's in a role where he's a kindly old grandpa type (wasn't he in Quaker Oats commercials too?) I don't trust him. I keep expecting evil from him.
I really need to write up these meeting minutes and don't wanna.

Woke up really late and still had to do laundry to have something to wear to work today? Check.
Managed to drop quarters all over laundry room floor, and then couldn't get the damn door to stay open after closing it to get that last quarter behind the door? Check.
Well then, it must be Monday. Blargh.

Pretty well, so far. When I went in to pick up my new phonebooks last week, I didn't have to give them my name--they just picked out the package from the batch they were holding for residents. I was surprised that they already know me since I've only been in there a few times (to get a working mailbox key and drop off the rent check).
The cable is a bit wonky (someone disconnected it last week for no particular reason--I think they got me confused with someone else at the main box, and now the On Demand channel's not working), and the elevator can be a bit touchy (it didn't want to move from the third floor when I was trying to go to work this morning), but having AC is wonderful when it's 90 degrees out!
