Sophia - oh my dear sweet Jesus. I would have peed my pants. I am so glad it is only a funny story now. PLEASE LOCK YOUR CAR!!!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What they all said, Sophia.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I don't lock my car. But I will be from now on!

When I was younger, I used to lock my keys in my car all the time, so I stopped locking, and the car is so old, that I don't car if it gets stolen. Apparantly, however, I do car if a man is in my backseat!

I think I am just not really a screamer at things---I am scared of bees, but I don't scream and flail, I freeze and wait for them to go away. I didn't really want to scream at a man in the back of my car who I thought was going to kill me. And when I realized what had happened, I was sort of worried how he would get home, etc.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I would have shrieked bloody murder, Sophia! You are a remarkably level-headed woman. Sooo glad it was just a harmless drunk (and one who was smart enough not to drive while intoxicated, so points for him, I guess). It's been one of those months for you, hasn't it?

And everyone is right; an NGA-off is not a good idea, especially on a Friday morning (I don't need to start off the weekend all depressed).

If I get enough done this morning, I might ask the boss if I can take a half day. Then again, I'm so far behind on stuff around here that it'd probably be better if I just stayed and got through some of it. I need caffeine before I can tackle the pile--I'll be right back.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I feel like I did not get from this headline what CNN intended me to get:

Men pack boats, leave towns without husbands

Ann, that's a ferret.

Dana, I'll file that with the name of a local handyman service: Husbands for Hire.

Art Crawl!!!

Sophia - freaky!

And I am SO GLAD that it turned out to be only freaky and not scary or a TRAGEDY.

Please lock your car.

This week off has been great. I don't want to go to work. Well, except that the weather has taken a turn for the hot and humid and going to that cool air-conditioned envirionment, i.e., the office, will actually be nice.

I have discovered "Take Home Chef" and "Wedding Altered". I only discoverd "Wedding Altererd" within the last 30 minutes. The Groom in the episode I am watching seems to not have a clue as to what his Bride would like. (She knows what he likes.)

Interesting.

Oh, I remember Walter

Isn't it a shame the way our little world has changed?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

So Jesse, my paralegal just came in and said 1. he was at some saxophonists' concert last night and PRINCE came on stage for the encore and 2. said paralegal also got in line (on line) at 6:15 this morning to see Prince on GMA-- he said there were thousands of people there, lots of people dressed like crazy (one in a New Power Generation jacket, others in boas and homemade Prince tee shirts) and the line went all the way around the block. But he got closer to Prince than he would have in any other concert, so.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Sophia, you are to lock your car. Get a spare key made in case you lock them in, but LOCK.

And my, that's a scary story.

Gronk.

This cold will not go away. I thought I was over the hump, but then we went to the grocery store and I relapsed. Paul's sick, too.

Lillian's recovered.

This is not a pretty picture.
