Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Me, I'd prescribe listening to "Shannon" a couple of times. The song about a dead dog (by Henry Gross) never fails to make me sob, no matter that I know how manipulative it is.

OMG, I remember that song. Strangest pop song ever.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Stranger than Timothy? I think not.

Oy. Yeah, you win. That one I *don't* remember.

Although I do think "Run, Joey, Run" has a special place up there in strange 70s pop songs about death.

Ann, that's a ferret.

If we're talking about '70s death songs, someone has to mention "Seasons in the Sun." I think there's a law.

Done, and done. It's the benchmark, certainly.

Also, "Afternoon Delight". Well, it IS about a "little death".

Written by Rupert Holmes of "The Pina Colada Song" infamy, no less.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Who put the bop in the bop shoo bop shoo bop?
