I'm a single undead gal trying to make it in the big city. I have to start somewhere and they're evil here. They don't judge. They've got necro-tempered glass. No burning up. A great medical plan, and who needs dental more than us?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I 've been thinking aobut the art thing- first the basic start of the conversation. really rich person - finding the disapline to do something - esp. in the art world which is more self driven = a really really good thing. And the more I thought about it, I can't make a distinction between doing art or running some sort of a foundation. DH - is good a makeing and creating things . I would do better running a scholarship fund. Just makeing sure all the pieces happen. because I am good at that, if I care about the project.

I do think that sucessful artists either come from a background of wealth, where they don't have to be sucessful in order to eat or from poverty, where they already haven't eaten, and are therefore willing to take the risk, because, well why not. I do admit this is based on a sample of 5 from my graduating theatre class. Growing up lower middle class in the seventies and eighties makes (me anyway) to security needing to take any big jump. (however, it may make me a perfect audience for Freaks and Geeks)

Well, I do always love it when the first people a winner thanks are the stage management and wardrobe people!

I also think that the gowns are so much more real than the other awards shows, and I love looking at naturally aging women! (a bunch of the play actress nominees)

I do believe in other years that we got to see a clip of the play for the actor/actress nominees, which is disappointing for me not to have.

Also, I am not sure if I chould white font any of this...

Yeah. I've seen a bunch of really great gowns, and a few boring ones, but none of the horrible ones that there'll be at some of the other shows. (At least, not yet.)
