Well, I do always love it when the first people a winner thanks are the stage management and wardrobe people!
I also think that the gowns are so much more real than the other awards shows, and I love looking at naturally aging women! (a bunch of the play actress nominees)
I do believe in other years that we got to see a clip of the play for the actor/actress nominees, which is disappointing for me not to have.
Also, I am not sure if I chould white font any of this...

Yeah. I've seen a bunch of really great gowns, and a few boring ones, but none of the horrible ones that there'll be at some of the other shows. (At least, not yet.)
Wow! The Drowsy Chaperone number
sure showed off costume changes!
I think there were eight!
I lost count halfway through. Eight seems about right.
Also, there is now a commercial on that features an instrumental part of a Magnetic Fields song (I think it might me I think I need a new heart). It is very strange.
I don't pay enough attention to Broadway to watch the whole thing, but now I wish I were taping it so I could see the highlights.
Huh. I'd never heard of
The Drowsy Chaperone
before (I've been kind of out of touch with Broadway stuff, since I haven't been in NY much), but this is really making me want to see it.
See-- this is my one change a year to see the things on Broadway-- seeing the musicals and play highlights performed is my favorite thing. One year (the year Caberet was up for awards) they did a PBS preshow about the deisgn awards which was fascinating for me, but apparently not for the rest of the US, because they have never dne it again.

Yeah, I've run across that on TV. It's a dog food ad, right? They should have used "Fido, Your Leash is Too Long."
Well, maybe not.
