I spent a LOT of time this afternoon singing along with Bon Jovi and Guns-n-fucking-Roses. Not sure why, but it was gooooood.
Natter 45: Smooth as Billy Dee Williams.

Announcement: I have sinned against God and ManJesse.
Analysis: I have purchased gaucho pants.
Defense: It's not my fault! They tricked me by being all cute and shit.
muhahahahaha! Welcome to the Dark Side of Sears!!
I've...kind of come around on gaucho pants. They still aren't for me, but I have seen them look good on people.
Honestly, I think it was just mental self-defense after all the work shorts and cropped leggings.
I napped.
Ozzie still hates the world, but not always me.
I am taking a break while the electric screwdriver charges. I realized (hopefully not too late) that if I keep assembling things manually, I will have no use of my hands tomorrow.
The other thing I did today: brush the dog. [link]
I stopped when my arm got tired.
People! Think twice before getting a dog with Huskie in them. IJS.
People! Think twice before getting a dog with Huskie in them. IJS.Between Lulu and Puppycat? They are taking over the world with their shedding. I took the trash out so I can't snap the pic of what I vacuumed off of the furniture and floor and what I brushed off of her. I only stopped because, well, it felt as though I were Sisyphus with more fur and less stone.
We put together our new swing! We got it on sale for $99 a couple of weekends ago but didn't have an afternoon to fo the assemblage until today. It's great! So comfy and we found a perfect corner of our (not gigantic) yard for it. The cushion that came with it was not in the hideous fabric that was on the display model at OSH, so that's an another bonus.
Stopping seems like a good thing, in all three cases.
Yay for swings!
