Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

I napped.

Ozzie still hates the world, but not always me.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am taking a break while the electric screwdriver charges. I realized (hopefully not too late) that if I keep assembling things manually, I will have no use of my hands tomorrow.

The other thing I did today: brush the dog. [link]

I stopped when my arm got tired.

People! Think twice before getting a dog with Huskie in them. IJS.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Between Lulu and Puppycat? They are taking over the world with their shedding. I took the trash out so I can't snap the pic of what I vacuumed off of the furniture and floor and what I brushed off of her. I only stopped because, well, it felt as though I were Sisyphus with more fur and less stone.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We put together our new swing! We got it on sale for $99 a couple of weekends ago but didn't have an afternoon to fo the assemblage until today. It's great! So comfy and we found a perfect corner of our (not gigantic) yard for it. The cushion that came with it was not in the hideous fabric that was on the display model at OSH, so that's an another bonus.

Stopping seems like a good thing, in all three cases.

Yay for swings!

Well, the nice thing with Lucy is we go through this about twice a year, at the beginning and end of summer, where the amount of hair coming out is simply astounding. (You can actually see the difference in her before and after brushing. She's measurably smaller. It's freaky.) And I can brush out a pile like that every other day. But in between times, she's not so awful a shedder. Really, she molts more than sheds.

(But man oh man. That huge pile of hair is solid - when I gathered it up to take to the trash, compressed it was a ball the size of a volleyball. No wonder she gets so freaking hot.)

Ooh! Yay swing!

It's pretty clear that I'm not going to do the cleaning I should tonight.

I'm trying to decide if I want to shower again and go to Nordtrom's for the half yearly sale, or just sit here for the rest of the evening.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Holy crap, brenda, that's a lot of hair.

Yay swing! I wish I had a swing.

Perkins, if I'm any inspiration, I've managed not to leave the house today, except to run to the deli earlier. Nor have I cleaned anything. I may yet, though. Or at least straightening, if not actual cleaning.

Yay, another slacker! I left the house, twice today. I'm thinking I may be better off going to Nordstrom's, since at least then I will be doing something useful.

I think I am going to set three tasks for tonight though, so at least I will get a little bit of cleaning done.
