OK, that has me gagging.

And yet a worm in the tequila doesn't.

Oh, that reminds me: if you have any slimey gross out issues at all (CSI has made you gag? ) should you start to see the trailer for How to Eat Fried Worms, IMMEDIATELY close your eyes and plug your ears for the duration. I was caught off guard when I went to see Over the Hedge and I avoided hurling but just barely. Very very barely.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

they have no idea if his first word was Spanish or English.

My nephew is spoken to in bothjapanese and english- and his babblings were a a wierd mix of english and japanese syllables. he speaks a bit of both now. he ( at not yet two) is also very clever. he knows how the speed dial works and has taken to randomly calling DH's cell phone and yelling 'Unca Matt' into the phone.

and if you are going into the dessert you should have a parasol. but they may eat up most of the budget

eta - sorry flea for makeing you look crazy - I wish I didn't leave words out. anything that is more formal than the board I read everything out loud to see if I have done this. I t will be way easier when I can just think things at the computer

My cousin's kid had two language babble. He'd only use the japanese babble with his paternal grandparents and his dad. With his mom(who did speak japanese to him as well)& her family he'd use an english babble. And they really did sound different. It was neat.

I know what beth meant, but it makes it look as if her nephew, although hearing Spanish and English at home, has spontaneously begun to speak Japanese!

Has anyone found a simple online guide to what World Cup games are being televised on major networks, during non-work hours? I'd like to watch some games, but have neither cable nor the sort of life that allows me to visit Brazilian pubs at 6am. And I am lacking google-fu today.

Thrive to spite them

The only woman I hate almost as much as Ann Coulter and Michelle Milkin is Katherine Harris. I've loved watching her campaign implode and it just got worse for her. Harris's chief of staff quit. This is her 4th chief of staff.

This comes right after she's lost 2 campaign managers, a pollster, a chief strategist, a spokeswoman and a media adviser who worked with her for 10 years.

The link is here [link]

The Democrats jumped all over this by releasing a news release:

"If Katherine Harris can't accomplish the basic task of keeping a staff in place in her office, how can she be trusted to function as an advocate for Florida?"
