A daughter of a friend, even when she was only a few months old, and more and more as she grew older, would respond completely different to boys than she would to girls, and it would be even more pronounced when the boys were around her age. yes, it vaccinates against HPV, one of the most common STDs (though you can get it without sexual contact). Opponents argued that it would promote promiscuity if girls knew that they wouldn't get HPV.
