Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Where are you, Laura? Or, rather, where will you be next Monday that's not Florida?

Otter Lake, NY - I hope to get your way before the end of summer. Of course anyone wanting to escape to the Adirondacks... It's rustic, but current temp is 58F, which better than Florida.

The status is NOT quo.

YAY dinner with Buffistas!

Kristin, in case you see this before you check your LJ -- do you have any free time to hang out tomorrow?

Kate, we're planning to hang out down here, check out Gillette's Castle, etc. You're welcome to come join us!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm not sure if my message went through on the Somervillian list, but I won't be able to make it on the 23rd. Sorry, Kristin.

I'm not on the Somervillian list, so I don't know...but I'm sad! I hope to see you again soon, sj.

Also, Kate, sorry we're not quite up for the drive up tomorrow, but we just came in from NYC today, and ND has to train back to NYC to fly back to LA on Saturday. We're trying to keep this week as low-key as possible. I texted your phone...I think...earlier. Let's chat and see if we can find a solution.

But for any of the Somervillians (including sj and Kate) who can't do the 23rd, ND and I are doing a little informal cookout at my mom's place in CT this Thursday night. If anyone else would like to join us here, we'd love to see you! I know it's a bit of a hike for most of you, which was why I'd planned dinner on the 23rd, but if you'd like to see ND's iPhoneND, that's your chance!

Nora, plans for dinner on the 23rd sound great. My little cousin Kerry (okay, she's like...24 or something...but she's still my little cousin) may be joining us too.

Oh, fun! (adds another to the list)

You like Italian, right? I may not have been specific because it's so second nature to me, but the North End is primarily Italian fare, it's the Italian neighborhood of Boston.

Also, going off of one of Frank's recommendations upthread, I really, really like the look of Antico Forno. Looks reasonable (the most expensive dish is the veal at $22, and most everything else is well below that), has nice looking pastas and pizzas as well as meat dishes.

I am personally leaning Antico Forno-ward, but the floor is still open to suggestions or folks who don't like the look of the place. Just speak up!
