I should be making my reservations this weekend (I have to check with a couple of people I'm planning on seeing on the way down to firm up those plans).
F2F 4: Too Much Candy, Never Enough Mojitos.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
I'm still thinking about going. Right now, the cheapest flight I'm seeing is $238, which is a bit more than I'd wanted to spend.
Matt that would be great! I sent you an email to your profile addy.
I just noticed that the link to the Highland Inn on the F2F web page doesn't work (it pops you back to the main page for the F2F).
Oops. It's fixed.
I need to figure out if I'm going to make the F2F. I wouldn't be able to leave until after work on Friday, and on Sunday I need to be in Savannah for dinner.
Random question, Sparky - how long a drive is Savannah from Atlanta?
Of course you're going to make the F2F, Sparky.
It's 4-5 hours to Savannah. AirTran does occasionally have very cheap flights.
Ginger also added, when I asked, that it was a very boring drive, so I'm hoping to fly. What I really need to do is talk to the organizer for the Savannah boondoggle to see if they have a problem paying for something other than a RT ticket. Trouble is, the organizer is a dimwit so I'm avoiding the question.
Off to write her an email, now.
Very boring. Much of I-16 goes through pine plantations. It's mile after mile of precisely planted pine trees. It's also below the fall line, so it's as flat as Kansas.
