How much do we love Scola?
F2F 4: Too Much Candy, Never Enough Mojitos.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
Bwahahahahahaha!
Loving Buffistas.
Tom, I think we've found a location. We can have Prom at Dickey's BBQ Pit Express.

Oh yeah, baby.
HA.
(That's the one place along the I-95 corridor that my dad NEVER wanted to stop and eat (because it's a shithole) and somehow, we ALWAYS ended up needing gas when we passed it, and having to stop anyway, in spite of the previous 5 hours being spent going "Okay, this year, we are NOT stopping at Vince Lombardi!")
It is the Garden State after all.

I was kinda hoping for the Eerie Pennsylvania TravelPort myself. They have an Iron Skillet!
I think she is, but she's been uber-busy. I was just offerering help if she (or anyone else) would like it. I don't mind organizing big events.
Awesome. Because I'm not good for more than wisecracks, morale support and, uhm, more wisecracks in this matter.
But New England rocks. Museum of Science, Salem, good places to eat, yadda-yadda-yadda.
As far as east coast roadside attractions go, South of the Border probably can't be beat: [link] [link]
My ex and I once did a road trip from central New Jersey to Savannah GA in one fell swoop. We were insane well before we reached South of the Border, and the sight of it merely confirmed our madness.
Instead of Vince Lombardi, I vote Walt Whitman. Or Molly Pitcher. As long as it has a Cinnabon. Honestly, doing a F2F in Jersey is probably the only way I'll actually get to go to one. I'd like to meet the Buffistas someday. (Yes, collectively.)
I stayed at South of the Border once. (I was 11. It was a family vacation. We were on our way to Hilton Head.) The rooms were even worse than you'd expect.
