Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

'War Stories'

The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Our wings are not tired.

Hee, not cousins although John Black is really the son of Colleen Brady and Stephano's father. Hence the casting mention that started this - Shirley Jones.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Vortex, you now scare me in an additional way.

The sad thing is that I haven't watched DOOL since college.

I believe that Belle is being written off the show. But not fast enough.

And! I saw all these ads about how John Black was "back" and I didn't know he'd left, so I found a site that does summaries, and this is fantastic:

John and Marlena were married in a beautiful ceremony, but didn't have long to enjoy themselves -- John was shot by E.J. Wells, and fell into a coma. He was later kidnapped from the hospital and his kidney stolen. John was just beginning to take his life back when he was the victim of a hit and run.

So he's back from being dead for a few months. And he has amnesia. Which is pretty standard for this crowd, but I'm wondering if he came back for his kidney.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Wasn't Marlena a homicidal maniac for a while? I heard she was a homicidal maniac.

I know she was possessed by Satan at some point. Though possibly not the same point.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I hate rapid aging syndrome. Makes me feel old.

I have it!

Seriously, they tell me I'm 37.... but I'm pretty sure I was only born a few seasons ago. To a princess. And Stefano.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I saw all the posts and thought there was either Strike or Tim news. Days works too.

not cousins

If for no other reason than Shawn's father, Bo, isn't really a Brady, but is Victor (not shown on Days unless someone dies) Kiriakis' son.

Or is Marlena a Brady by marriage. Wait, it's coming back -- Marlena was married to Roman, who fell off a cliff and came back as John Black, then remembered that he was Roman, until the original actor decided to come back, then they said that Stefano had brainwashed John into thinking that he was Roman, but now Roman was back and Marlena was all torn because she was in love with John because she thought he was Roman, and the kids had worked it out with the new guy.

And we forgot to add that when Roman came back the next time, he looked and talked exactly like the blue collar construction worker and former Salem resident Chris Kositchek, however everyone in Salem was too polite to say anything. Even Maggie, with whom he had flirted--AS Chris.

As a result of my childhood, I have way too many memory synapses wasted on this show.
