Well, quite a lot of fuss. If I didn't know better, I'd think we were dangerous.

The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Yeah. My only real fear is the whole Alias effect, where you can go so far, and then get lost in the show's mythology. Mind you, for a show where the main concept involves 'reset', you can't do that very much I'd imagine.

Mind you, after the whole Drive thing where people were worrying about it getting boring after two seasons..

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I'm with jengod on this one and am a bit scared and confused by the other reactions. I am not the most educated person in the world so maybe I just don't get where you all are coming from.

I'm happy about the show and will reserve all judgment or gnashing of teeth until I actually know something (and will probably still reserve all judgment until after seeing a handful of episodes).

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I don't think Joss is a chauvanist pig. I also don't think his womens' studies degree gives him a free pass. As Plei says, he's got his blind spots like everyone else.

And as for why I suspect sex & sexuality will play a large role in the show...it's on television. Which by and large tends to sex up what can be sexed up.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

To me, it just sounds like these people are stuck in the matrix and eliza is starring as keanu.

...which has me now imagining Eliza macking on Carrie Anne Moss. This is not a bad thing.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'll be in my bunk.

Yeah, that's kind of the qualmy part for me. It could be quite PhilDickian... but I'm not sure that's Whedon's strength.

What would you say his strength is?
