[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I wonder which version you read, Polter-Cow. Not that it changed that much as we went. Those are called stage directions, screen direction or just plain prose.

I'm not sure. I will take this part out as soon as you see it, but I got it from a friend of mine at CAA about three weeks ago.

The four minutes on the road early in the piece -- one continuous shot which goes from car-to-car -- was about a million dollars. Not that anyone will notice, the Zoic fx are that good.

Awesome. As I was reading, I thought, "Shit, this is going to be hard to film."

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm totally going to Anaheim.

"Don' be e-scared"

Agents are allowed to give out scripts, Polter-Cow. I don't suspect they'd have had the many colored version I ended up with, as I was revising the entire shoot.

Ah, okay. I know she warned me not to, like, post it on the Internet, but I wasn't sure whether it was allowed to leave the agency at all.

No, I don't think it was that one. There was no mention of colored pages or anything.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Ok, The Who writer who'll be at the con is Paul Cornell.

And the Sat. 2:30 panel is a go, but I bet it'll be reeeeeally crowded, since other people on the panel include Rockne O'Bannon and JMS.

The other Saturday panel is around the time my DH has a concert, so I can't do that one.

WHY DOESN'T SF SEEM TO LAST ON TV?

Oh, oh, I know this one!

What is even happening?

I'd go, if America weren't between me and Anaheim.

Tim, have you done many cons?

I watched some videos of panels from Comic Con (I think; P-C is that the one you just went to, at which Rob Thomas and the VM cast appeared?). I expected more, somehow. Maybe this particular audience just didn't have many questions, I don't know. I always wonder if the writers and actors feel on the spot at these things, though.

Yeah, that was Comic-Con. And, yeah, the panel wasn't all that great beyond the awesome guy with Kristen's box. And, of course, that kickass promo. But few things compare to Austin.
