Ugh. Serial drama burnout or were there so many promos that people got sick of them and took a pass (the critic for the Boston Globe had a comment to that effect)? If the latter, it would be a painful irony.

Personally, I think that the obvious audience for this show are TAR fans. And lots of those folks were watching TAR and maybe taping or dvring Drive to watch later.

The reality is there hasn't been a successful racing drama series for a long time. So that might be the problem. Much like Fillion's last movie thing, Slither, tanked -- great film, but horror comedy, which tank.
