Ugh. Serial drama burnout or were there so many promos that people got sick of them and took a pass (the critic for the Boston Globe had a comment to that effect)? If the latter, it would be a painful irony.

The reality is there hasn't been a successful racing drama series for a long time. So that might be the problem. Much like Fillion's last movie thing, Slither, tanked -- great film, but horror comedy, which tank.
