March/April-ish. Can I make it first please?

The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Can I make it first please?
Pah! Show now, worry about actually making the thing later. The other way round has just been done to death.
Poot! You're a magician, right? Just, you know, wave your arms. Tell the cast to look pretty and die painfully. It'll all be done in a flash.
But the Whedonesque thing is just a link to the AICN story, isn't it?
So I'm guessing with all the re-casting that the original pilot is now history, as in it will never be broadcast?
Well, I don't have a clue who it is being hinted about.
Neither do I. I'm assuming Gary Coleman. That way I'll be pleasantly surprised no matter who the pick is.
Yeah, original pilot won't be broadcast. It make a super neat official DVD extra, though. Assuming they ever actually, you know, release the DVD.
The Fillion thing is neat because a) he's not a dick from experience and b) he can actually act. And understand what the script means. And, yes, he looks pretty.
Also, he's familiar with Tim and his murderous ways.
Yeah. I've always wondered if working with an actor you know informs how you write the scripts, or if that's never part of the equation. Example: Mal over Book's dying body in Serenity worked well (acting wise). Nathan really nailed that. When I read it in the script, it didn't work for me. What I'm really saying, of course, is kill them all, Tim. Kill them all! Except Nathan's possible character, as Nathan looks like an elf. Elves don't die.

Unless he's trying to buy a comic book.
