[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

An excellent point. You are my friend.

Because I can be a giver, here is a very funny story about how to handle notes from actors:

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

It sounds like someone's supposed to meet him on a parking deck with a briefcase full of twenties.

She's supposed to trade them for a steamer trunk with a bound and gagged Alan Ruck inside, isn't she?

God. That would be fantastic. All embassorial staff would be required to have fun hair colors.

Waiting for Drive news....

What is even happening?

Like, "Tim Minear runs contest: Find the hidden nude Maxim model still in every episode, and you'll win a Porche"?

Well, here's my Drive news.

Tim is canning the two Mexican brothers and they will be replaced by Lindsay and Angel in a Chevy Impala. "No, YOU shut up."

The lead will be played by Nathan Fillion, and his love interest will be played by Gina Torres, who is on the lam for running down a character played Vincent Kathaiser with a lawn mower.

Caroline Dhavernas will take the role of Wendy, who is unfortunately saddled with her whiny kid sister, Dawn. Upon the screeching Get Out GET OUT GET OUT!, Wendy will run her down with the same lawn mower.

Finally, Peter Coyote will be playing a sociopathic hitchhiker who gets picked up by Marti Noxon. Peter tortures Marti for the entire series in retribution for Buffy Season 6.

Also, I'm hired as Executive Producer when Tim's head explodes.
