Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Oh, sure; that's why I have them. But I wasn't really capable of catharsis just then.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Somebody posted this on WHEDONesque:

If they hold it until spring (as opposed to January), Fox can promote the show heavily throughout early season NASCAR coverage.

That's got to be so smooth a connection even Fox can't miss it, right?

It's not that I'm the only one, it's that I'm the honest one.

Am I being naive or is it possible we could get a second season solely because Fox will have canceled all their other new fall shows by then and it would look bad if nothing got a second season?

Not that I'm over-analyzing anything or looking too far ahead.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Jackal, I can pretty much say they'd never do that. Too much of a gamble. Of course, I'd be thrilled if they did.

It's not that I'm the only one, it's that I'm the honest one.

I was hoping you'd share my naivety, making it seem a marginally more realistic theory.

Is it just me or is this season stranger than usual?

Fox decides to drop the The Wedding Album and, instead, buys a new series from David E. Kelley called The Wedding Store.

Isn't that the show they've been pimping for weeks now in commercials? Is that the fastest cancellation ever?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

From that article:

Kelley continues to work on both the pilot for "Life on Mars," which is a contender for ABC's fall sked

Are they already remaking Life on Mars, the British series where the detective time travels back to the '70s OR DOES HE?

Oh great, now the little girl and doll test from the pattern can traumatize millions of new American viewers!
