Julia got dismissed with a "belly ache". I thought I was going to get her with a belly ache, but it was just a "belly ache". Ben has a Social Studies fair in a little while, and I thought I was going to have to miss it. I have no car, so I had to wait for my mother to come get me, so that I didn't have to make a child with a belly ache walk home with me. Had I known she had a "belly ache" (and substitute teacher aversion) I would walked up to get her, instead. That said, because it's a "belly ache" rather than a belly ache, I felt free to take my mother up on her offer to watch Julia, so I could still make it to Ben's Social Studies fair.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
You're kidding, Suzi?!
I'm sad. And they'll be stale and gross by now. Guess I'm gonna have to make another batch.
So, who's gonna watch the train wreck that is Brit Spears tonight?
What show is she going to be on?
I'm watching the U.S. version of The Office. It's one of the episodes I missed, so I'm really kind of giddy about it. I need Vonnie. I don't remember anyone else here being large with The Office (U.S.) love.
How much more school do they have, Cindy? Today is CJ and K-Bug's last day. Plus K-Bug's bf graduates today. SO totally not ready to say she dates a High School Graduate.

Dateline.

Emily's been getting it from Netflix. We like to fast forward the bits with the obnoxious boss.
Bummer about the "belly ache", Cindy, but glad you can make the fair.
Yay to vw on the unexpected money!
And could I beg the Bitches for some job~ma, please? I have a couple of applications in at my alma mater, and I think I'd be splendid for one (production management! telling people to adhere to the blasted schedule with a little enforcement power [as opposed to just begging them like I do now]), and quite good for the other. My current job is hanging in there, but we've been pronounced dead so many times that the whole place is taking on a zombie-like feel—lots of folks shambling about, hollow-eyed and inclined to chew your head off.

Bummer about the "belly ache", Cindy, but glad you can make the fair.Yes, and belly aches can be worrisom, so I'm glad it's just a "belly ache."
I'm a little annoyed, though. Julia has had excellent attendance this year (all my kids still love school), and so I've made it (I thought) pretty clear to her that I'm not into the pretense of illness deal. If my children are doing fine in school, and haven't missed much school, I am open to considering mental health days, and haven't made any bones about that.
We will be Talking when I retrieve her from Nana's house, later this afternoon.
Tons of jobma to you, Calli!
Much job~ma Calli. Sounds like some good opportunities.
