One of the first things we discovered as a couple was that we had to have separate blankets and sheets.
This is us. I feel sorry for DH, because as a twin, and as someone who shared a bed with her sister until she was 12, I'm very much a snuggler sleeper. DH is a "your side, my side" kind of guy. So he gets his own blanket and sheet.
Cindy, I just caught that quote in a quick scroll yesterday. Real life has been eating me from my bottom so I don't get to reply too much. I use Buffy quotage a lot out loud but nobody here seems to catch it. That's why it's so nice to see it and use it here. Buffistas get it. They might not comment on it. But they get it.
Root canal this morning. I could never have gotten through it without the nitrous oxide. The dentist asked me why they didn't use it on me last time. I said, "Because I didn't know it would be free for TMJ freaks like me."
Raq, I hope Mal lets you rest. I'm in the dilemma where Olivia is sleeping 10-11 hours a night--but only in her bouncy seat by my bed. If I try to put her in the crib, she wakes up. I'm so not ready to retrain her to sleep in the crib but she's starting to outgrow the bouncy seat situation.
Yeah. Unless it's Homicide...
You'd be surprised how often "Lost art, ducking," comes up.
But Cindy is totally always welcome in bitches.
I know how it is.
"I'm upset because the relationship I think I have isn't the relationship I actually have."
Dude...I do that in four fandoms now. There's probably an anti-psychotic with my name on it, some place.
Okay, I have to hijack the thread with corset talk.
My apartment management sent me a letter saying that, if I renew my lease early, there will be no increase in rent AND I'll get half off July's rent. Dood! (My lease is up for renewal in August, so it's not like this is *early*-early, and I was planning on renewing, anyway.)
So I suddenly have (or will have, in a couple of weeks), almost $300 that I didn't plan for. I should be a responsible adult and pay bills, but damn it, my birthday is coming up (see how I mentioned that, all sly-like?), and it's basically found money, not money I'd be taking from other parts of my budget.
Having justified the purchase so well, now I'm dithering on the style.
I thought about a waist cincher, but in looking at pictures, it seems that women with substantial boobs have issues with boob droop when wearing a cincher. And my boobs are not insubstantial.
So what I'm thinking is just a standard overbust style.
Thoughts?
Teppy, with my Bosom O'Doom (which also is losing the Battle of Gravity), I tried on an overbust style leather corset which handled the problem quite nicely. It was a Stormy Leather X-Busty style and I adored it.
In short, I think you would look wonderful in that style.
I am pro-overbust. You could get it in a demi-cup cut if you wanted, right?

Like a sweetheart neckline?
You know how sometimes you (and by "you" I mean "me" and possibly "some people") get a feeling of being a complete persona non grata?
I feel like this almost daily, but you are always a joy to read, Cindy.
Teppy, I think the overbust style would look fabulous on you, and you are absolutely right to spend your found money on you for your birthday. You deserve it.
Askye, much ~ma to you coworker.
~ma for askye's co-worker. That's a lot to handle.
Overbust is what I think of when I think corset. Hurray for found money!
Emails it's nice to see first thing in the morning:
