Ugh, I thought things were going better marriage-wise, but I think I may have blown it. My wife was away for four days at a conference, anyhow I apparently didn't water the plants well enough so I took a lot of flak. Now it looks like I need to work late to fix a mistake I made and when I told her that I got cold rage. Looks like I'll just need to not work late and maybe I can restore things.

Last night after taking a couple of rounds of criticism, my daughter could tell I was a bit down and told me "It isn't that bad Dad". On the one had it was very sweet. On the other hand, I feel like I need to be more stoic around the kids.

Emmett's last day is my birthday!

On my birthday I will probably being going to see a pirate band -- Alaskan Pete and His Salty Seamen.

I think they passed legislation here limiting how early schools could start. They were starting a couple weeks before labor day, but I'm not sure about that rule.

I've been doing everything by sticking to the way past documents have been, and I've been told, "Good job, this is good, you're doing fine," and now we're suddenly in this huge Oh Maybe We Should Have Been Doing Some QA on This Shit Phase and my report is coming back to me with errors upon errors upon comments upon questions I don't have answers to upon formatting upon more formatting upon more questions I don't have answers to and I CANNOT FIX ALL THIS BY EOB TOMORROW. ALSO I WROTE THIS REPORT TWO MONTHS AGO AND I AM TIRED OF LOOKING AT IT.

I just scooted forward on the couch to reach the box of tissues far away on the coffee table. Puppycat was nooked next to me and when I moved, she followed. And fell off the couch. She's dim and the whole gravity thing is sooooo confusing.
