Ultra-Pasteurized is a term for heating to a much higher temperature, and it gives milk products a much longer shelf life. Almost all cream products are these days are ultrapasteurized, as is shelf-stable milk.

shelf-stable milk.I adore the boxed milk. It's great for coffee. Hard to find though. And Googling Parmalat just gives you way too much information on their legal woes and not so much "where to buy boxes of milk" information.
I try to keep the boxed milk too. It's usually hiding out with the evaporated milk or with Hershey's Quik and Ovaltine.
I'm gonna take a stand and say Ann Coulter is bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. Worse than a worse, worse thing. I don't like her. And if my brother buys her new book, I'm gonna disown him.

I don't buy milk, but I get my soy milk in a box and it is teh awesome.
I went to a kosher winery Saturday before last, and the ladies working the tasting bar said that their wine is flash pasteurized, and somehow that made it okay for them to sell on Saturday (we were so not thinking when we decided when we would go, will have to go back to be able to do the tour when the place is open and not resting in accordance with kosher law (can I roll my own eyes at myself?)). We just need to come up with super pasteurization and wonder pasteurization and we'll have a whole Justice League of milk processing techniques.
Oh, and I called the vet today, because I was really not happy with the way his ears looked last night. They looked filled with puss. Apparently, this medication, when mixed with ear wax, can do that. Now, wouldn't that have been a nice thing to tell a mom?
YIKES! vw, it would have been nice to get a warning. I feel for your ear issues with Toto. Mac gets yeast/bacterial infections about twice a year in her floppy ears. I think they wouldn't happen if I were more scrupulous about keeping them clean--but I'm too focused on kid ears anymore.
Yeah, I just got the injection on Monday. It's supposed to continuously release the steroid over about six weeks, so things should hopefully continue to improve

Nick had me cut his hair very much like that, only worse... on purpose. Now he has hair paste and does strange things to make it look even worser.

And I'll tell DH his haircutting technique gets the bitch stamp of approval.
