I think I may need to punk O's hair out, put on his black pirate t-shirt and take some pictures.
Yes, please!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

My husband has had a quirky day.
We're currently working on getting the car inspected so it can be registered *cough*sixmonthslate*cough*. He was at a small independent oil changing place which shall now be our preferred oil changing place. Everyone there owns a Mustang of some sort or another. My car is a '78 Mustang II. Hubby has a '69 Mustang.
They asked him why I hadn't pestered him into getting me one of the cool '05 Mustangs. Rather than laughing at them in poverty-induced hysteria, he said, "She'd just want a convertible, and you know how red-heads get in convertibles." They nodded and made many "wise" statements about the cost of keeping red-heads happy.
Someone piped up, "It can't be worse than paying for a blonde." The other mechanics laughed derisively. One turned to Hubby: "So if you don't buy her a flashy car, how do you keep her happy?"
Hubby, obviously not versed in the ways of Buffista!thought, said, "I have other qualities that keep her happy."
To which the mechanics all laughed and said, "Now you're just bragging."
He swears he wasn't meaning anything naughty, but I definitely laughed loudly when he told me.
Love the pirate picture idea. Dude so needs to be cool.
tommyrot has forsaken the penguin revolution.
I see, now, that there's a reason, and it's a good one, so yay! But I was going to try to get Kara to say something about penguins so I could keep with the current theme and still be all up with the cool folks.
But I love the current Kara quote. Hee.
Also from Hubby today:
Hubby: I met David today at Irish Babies and King.
Me: At where?
Hubby: Irish Babies and King.
Me: What?
Hubby (grinning): Bairns and Noble.
I hit him with my purse as I laughed.
He sounds like he's feeling pretty well, Connie. Hee on the garage.
Thanks, P-C. She's pretty cute.
Greg told me I had to explain to her the difference between memories and mammaries (Tara's song) but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it yet.

The insurance finally kicked in, so now we can afford the good drugs.
Hey Deena! Glad they liked it! I think those flip flops are adorable.
Kara wanted the flip flops too, but Aidan hasn't gotten any summer appropriate shoes yet and he saw them first, so I let him keep them. I'll pick up some for her on payday. It'll be an excuse to go shopping.
I have a deadline of noon tomorrow on some work currently open on my monitor (behind the b.org, of course) and I don't want to do it.
Hubby, obviously not versed in the ways of Buffista!thought, said, "I have other qualities that keep her happy."He's such a darling. And quite funny.
