You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

Hmm...I would think you'd be getting some relief by now, with those new meds. I'd call the dr.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Ginger}}} and {{{Nora}}}

vw, I hope you get a restful night's sleep tonight.

I found a new for me and very unpleasant way to have an anxiety attack this morning. I was having a fairly boring dream where I was with some friends at some sort of art gathering, when I started to have an anxiety attack in my dream. I woke up with my heart racing, trying to catch my breath. It took me about a half hour to convince myself that I could get out of bed.

What is even happening?

Ginger, if it was taking Chris that long to improve, I'd call the doctor.

(it did sound quite sarcastic, but we know you're lovely. This is the peril of No Coffee.)

It really did. I cringed when I re-read it, Fay. At 5:30 on two sips of coffee, it was all playful wit and charm, without a hint of that sulphuric acid after-taste. Apologies again, billytea.

Well, my brother and sister-in-law are off to the hospital -- her water broke this morning. Interesting day to have a baby.

Whoot! I take it they only stripped her membranes or whatever last week, then?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Are there any female-sounding Satanic names?

One of my friends named his daughter this.

I am at school. All of my classes are taking their exams right now, so every half hour or so I have to poke my head into each class and make sure they don't have any questions (they're proctored by other teachers). The June Gloom has returned to LA this morning, and I never thought I'd be so grateful to see clouds and ick.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

(And, dude, "Lucyfer" is comedy GOLD!)

I seriously don't know why I never thought of it before. I mean, surely other people have thought of it before me because, easy. But it was just sitting there. As was Marystopheles.

And of course there's Kali Rocha.

Herding cats for fun

I had a long, boring dream that I was preparing to make a trek across the desert to go get exotic birds, which had to be brought back one at a time. I was repeatedly delayed by finding another piece of tinfoil, the right earrings, everyone needing a shower, etc. ad nauseum. I was all bouncing around with the let's go! Let's go! but noooooo. Apparently earring coordination is a Very Important part of survival gear in the desert.

Marystopheles. I too must attach this name to something stat.

Ginger: Yes, you should be feeling better now. Signed, sorry that you still feel poorly.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh, sj, that sucks. I hope the rest of your day is fabulous to make up for it.

JZ - Jun 06, 2006 6:27:57 am PDT #8047 of 10002
See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Apropos of nothing, one of my cousins is named Damian, and he is amazingly un-demonic: right up there at P-C levels of sweet/smart/cutiehead. Possibly it was the second a in his name instead of an e that did it.

Also, sending vibes of functionality followed by genuine restful SLEEP to vw, and oh, dear, Ginger, that sounds dreadful. Also, sj, I swear by all that's holy that I will endeavor to get the thing I meant to mail you oh so many weeks ago actually in the mail today to make up for your crappy morning.

Now into the shower and off to work.
