Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sorry I missed your call, sj. I was drying my hair (finally got it cut so I could color it - woot!). Someone is coming over in a little bit but I can call you later on this evening, if you'll be "free".

I'll try to call you sometime tomorrow. Dave is here tonight, and I haven't seen him much at all this week. I will hopefully be drunk soon on nice white wine but not posting.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Though I think tomorrow I have to go see "Stick It"!

That's open already? I think I might have to find some time soon to see it, too, for I am a dork.

I'm getting the pig!

Well, yeah!. Starbuck has not only tweaked my Kinsey, she's bitchslapped it and made it her gratefull bitch. Yowsa. Plus, Jamie B. [ain't even gonna try to spell his last name at the moment, by the way yay Gin! And yay Smonster for lending me her dvds] is all kindsa hottttttt!!!

All of this. Even the Gin! Except my lending yay goes out to a co-worker (S1 and 2.0) and lisah (almost current, yo!).

Though I think tomorrow I have to go see "Stick It"!

The preview made me snicker but I'll probably wait for dvd. Way too many teens in a movie theatre with that type of movie.

Tomorrow's kinda packed with stuff. I'll call you Monday from work. Since my officemate is out all week, I'll actually be able to talk freely. Yay! Also, have a great night with Dave and Too Much Wine.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I made Sparky1 eat her very first In and Out burger today. I even ordered it Animal style for her.

It was really very exciting.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Did she love it, Perkins?

Happy birthday, Betsy!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy Birthday, Betsy!

David, I don't know what to make of the news of your weaselly ex-boss -- except that somehow it makes her seem even weasellier.

I'm ambivalent. I know she was looking since she got overruled on hiring my minion. So it kind of sucked (for her) to have to sit in on firing me and lying to my face. OTOH, she could've fuckin' fought for a better severence for me at least.

I was interviewed by the unemployment office on Friday.

"So what was the incident that caused you to be fired."
"There was no incident. I wasn't warned and hadn't had any meetings with them regarding my performance. Nothing."
::pause:: "Well, you know the burden of proof is on them..."

It was like she was hinting for me to file a wrongful termination suit.

Oh well.

Back from baseball. We lost. Played rather flat. Emmett had a blah day at the plate, but was excellent once again catching, doing everything to stop passed balls and stopping their baserunners. He's kind of getting off to a slow start again, but he has impressed the other coaches with his catching, which is more important at Triple A.

We turned our first double play of the season today! Nice and clean, force at third then force at second.

We've got another game tomorrow, and he'll probably get a chance to pitch again.

Emmett's reading his bound volumes of Calvin & Hobbes and JZ is off getting the greek dip ingredients.
