So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yes! And there's Thai food! And excellent shopping! And pingpong ball tricks! (which, okay, scary, but probably in the spirit of the Hospitality Suite)

We have excellent Thai food here too, although not much with the shopping unless you really want to outfit yourself for outdoor sports. There is one really great gift shop.

Um, I don't know about the pingpong ball trick thing.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

PLUS!! You AND Fay are British!

Not sure what that has to do about anything...

I know, I know. My spelling's dreadful. The number of times I've mispelled "the cutest little adorable snuggle bunny of Sparkledom, yes he is, wuzza wuzza" as "Pete" is just plain embarrassing.

Remember, I keep grudges for decades and eventually you & I will be in the same room again. Oh yes.

I'ma let Fay take that one, cause I *think* I know what it is, but if I'm wrong, ell, I look silly and questions will be asked.

I know what it is. I've also heard tell of it being performed with a banana. That could take your eye out, y'know.

So, at a guess, Fay is posting during breakfast, just before another work day. As for the rest of you, who's got Monday off?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

OK, I'm going to turn off the computer and go lie down and read, on the theory that maybe it'll get me a little more tired. Which should I read: Cryptonomicon, which I've read already but want to reread; or The Thorn Birds, which has been sitting on my bookshelf since I picked it up last summer; or A Study in Scarlet, which I'm thinking might be a bad idea, because once I start reading it I'm going to want to know how it ends?

Well, sort of. I've got to study, I think.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Um, I don't know about the pingpong ball trick thing.

Ooh! You need to see Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, then. Basically the pingpong ball trick involves the impressive flight of a pingpong ball, propelled by positiviely gladiatorial pelvic muscles. It is but one of many disconcerting things that the performing ladies of Bangkok's, ah, less reputable stage shows can apparently do with their ladyparts.

Yes. Scary.

I've also heard of bananas being broken up into bite-sized chunks (which would surely strike fear, rather than horniness, into the heart of any bloke with a shred of self preservation) and beer bottles being opened. Look ma, no hands! Or panties! Type of deal.

...guess I'm not really selling Thailand for the next F2F, am I?

So, at a guess, Fay is posting during breakfast, just before another work day. As for the rest of you, who's got Monday off?

Babe, I've been at work for more than two hours already! (But, since Resource is apparently over for the year now, this consists of me sitting in my room hoping nobody comes and asks me to do stuff. Which is nice.)

...think I may wander downstairs and get an apple and a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast. Incidentally, I'm getting the impression that by 'Grilled Cheese Sandwich', Americans actually mean 'Fried Cheese Sandwich'. Or something. Because they always seem to be buttery on the outside, which is a puzzlement to me.

And I do not fear your grudges. No I do not. I think they're adorable.

runs away.
