If they do show this apt to potential sellers, I think you or TCG should be there to say, "In our humble opinion, the woman from whom you're contemplating buying this place from is a mealy-mouthed weasel."
I also will have at least twenty-four hours notice to make the place look less appealing. Sort of like
Designed to Sell
in reverse.
ETA: Not that I would do that or anything.
Tries to look innocent
Edited because I misread. What sj said!
I'm sorry you're in that position, sj. That really sucks.
Everyone who commented on the Wallybee pics, aww, shucks. You're all very kind.
I think things will get better when we are both moved in and, hopefully, things settle down a bit.
Prepping for a move is stressful. I am sure things will be much better after you get settled into your new place together. Not that it makes it any easier right now.
Oh, and you can make friends with the neighbors and have them stage a curse filled fight loudly whenever someone is looking at the place!
You're all very kind.
Cause you guys are all adorable.
It's nice to see you looking so totally happy. And doooooooooomed.
I forgot to comment on the Wallybee pics! You two are the cutest couple I have seen in a long time. I think you're doomed.
Wallybee pics! Not only adorable and doomed, but you look very comfortable together. Nice.
sj - I'm sorry this is so stressful. Moving is stressful in the best of situations. What they said about getting through this with communication. Wishing you and TCG all the best.

I have a friend who -- hand to god -- did this in college. He had rented the same apartment, in a 2-family house, for a couple of years, and then the landlord decided to sell the house. My friend didn't want to move, so he put signs up around the apartment pointing out the problems. Like, "Note the crack in the wall -- this means foundation problems!"
I think as long as the place doesn't sell, and Teacup Guy agrees that based on what she paid for it there is little chance it will, we should be safe for staying there. She needs the rent money badly. The only other problem would be if she raises the rent.
