Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You're all very kind.
Cause you guys are all adorable.

It's nice to see you looking so totally happy. And doooooooooomed.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I forgot to comment on the Wallybee pics! You two are the cutest couple I have seen in a long time. I think you're doomed.

Our wings are not tired.

Wallybee pics! Not only adorable and doomed, but you look very comfortable together. Nice.

sj - I'm sorry this is so stressful. Moving is stressful in the best of situations. What they said about getting through this with communication. Wishing you and TCG all the best.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I also will have at least twenty-four hours notice to make the place look less appealing. Sort of like Designed to Sell in reverse.

ETA: Not that I would do that or anything.

I have a friend who -- hand to god -- did this in college. He had rented the same apartment, in a 2-family house, for a couple of years, and then the landlord decided to sell the house. My friend didn't want to move, so he put signs up around the apartment pointing out the problems. Like, "Note the crack in the wall -- this means foundation problems!"

I think as long as the place doesn't sell, and Teacup Guy agrees that based on what she paid for it there is little chance it will, we should be safe for staying there. She needs the rent money badly. The only other problem would be if she raises the rent.

Librarian Warlord

The only other problem would be if she raises the rent.

If she needs the rent money badly, I would think this is unlikely -- she won't want to risk a month without rent, or having to pay the agency again.

I'm getting the pig!

{{{Dave and sj}}} Dave's understandably upset and he's talking it through with you. Which, personally, I think is better than if he clammed up and seethed silently. That would drive you CRAZY, no? My best advice is to nod a lot and say, "I know, honey" every once in a while. Or maybe just kiss him on the forehead and say, "It'll be okay, as long as we go through it together."

But... I'm not in a relationship so listening to me could be hazardous. Filled with hazard!

Sick of work and tomorrow will be u-g-l-y. I don't wanna go back there. Someone kill me now (but bring me back to life for the F2F though).

Great. Now I've earwormed myself with Evanescence. Crap.

Thank you so much for saying that. It makes me feel better.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

SJ, you should listen to Sparky1. She's all smart and crap like that. I'm sorry you are having to deal with all of this.

Sparky, insent a while back.

Steph, insent as well.

I'm getting the pig!

FTR, taking shoes off first and *then* pants is the proper order when getting undressed. Opposite for putting clothes on. For some reason, I got confused this evening.
