My MiL just called. Offered both of us jobs on the newspaper she's starting.

Wow. Would this involve a move? And if so, couldn't she have offered this before you started school?

So, where would you end up moving to, Aimée? Also, what's the job security? Start-ups are a risky proposition.

All are things I need to consider.

They have pretty good investors who want to put a lot of money into the paper and make it succeed. The cost of living is definitely lower and we might even -GASP! - be able to buy a house. Then again - having my MiL in the same area code? Eh.

THen again, having my own family in the same area code is a good thing.
