Saffron: You're a good man. Mal: You clearly haven't been talking to anyone else on this boat.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

move out and draw fire

I just picked my cat up and sang it using him to demonstrate.

I expect to have my eyes clawed out later tonight.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Attn: Aimee!

Camel's milk could become the latest super food to hit the shelves of health food shops and upmarket retailers.

The United Nations is calling for the milk, which is rich in vitamins B and C and has 10 times more iron than cow's milk, to be sold to the West.

Camel's milk, which is slightly saltier than traditional milk, is drunk widely across the Arab world and is well suited to cheese production.

Harrods and Fortnum & Mason are said to be interested in the product.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ok. American Dreamz is HIL-arious!!

Awesome! Both because I'd been swooning over the director and cast and hoping that the film itself would be worthy, and also because you totally deserve a nice day out of the apartment seeing a HIL-arious movie. If I were a Somervillain I totally would've blown off my afternoon's work to go see it with you.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Glad you had a good time at the movies, vw. You deserve it.

I keep expecting him to drawl "Bring me another brick, there's a good chap...I seem to have soiled myself."

I can't decide whether this is funnier in Stewie's voice, or Brain's.

Dude, I am so claiming Mal for my daughter, ya know, if I ever have one. And if the Buffistas ever get around to arranging marriages between their kids. Should that go in Bureaucracy or do we need a new thread for it?

Cash, I'm pretty sure Raq's right about it. Your friend was not trying to snub you, she just didn't feel she could bring in another party to the outing, so she did not mention it at all. Of course, she is going to feel soooooo awkward when her hubby tells her he mentioned the zoo to you.

edited to remove extraneous wrong, wrong, wrong apostrophe.

I have decided to give up on work today, and whoever doesn't like that can bite my ass.

Instead, I shall recount the dream I had last night. I dreamt about my Prom outfit, which was pretty cool because I hadn't at ALL decided what to wear. Apparently I'll be there in Rocky Horror Floor Show-fu, because in my dream I was putting on a black miniskirt, fishnet thigh-highs (avec garters), and big black heeled boots. And a black corset top, which is the only part I don't currently own, which means I need to get one.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Raq, I can't tell you enough how much your gorgeous son looks like you. He has got to be one of the smilingest babies I've ever seen.

I'm over the zoo thing, I think. I've gone through the rational explanations but I still have some hurty feelings. I guess I can't understand why R and our mutual friend K didn't think to invite us to the zoo in the first place. It's tough when I'm in a place where I feel isolated and without a lot of friends. *shrug*

Ok. American Dreamz is HIL-arious!!

I'll put it on my list to see. I saw Dennis Quaid plugging the film on the Today show and The Daily Show (which was much funnier) and have to say--DQ looks GOOOOOOD and the movie does look hilarious. I also think that Willem Dafoe looks so much like Dick Cheney that I spit orange juice when I saw the film clip on Today.
