Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Breathe, vw. Even if you are making a mistake (and I don't think you are), there are ways to fix it. But first, keep breathing.

Because books.

I am Pete, except with extra added Ick.

I am Pete and Ginger, with same Ick. And a toddler.

You and Suzi both seemed to be enjoying your holiday from Mom responsibilities.

Indeed. I had a lovely time with you! It was interesting to have someone cut my hair who was enjoying it, not just snipping through to the next customer. More JZ time would have been even better, though.

{{{vw}}} Breathe, sweetie.

Mostly lurking...

Breathing again. It's not like I ever need to buy a house or anything. I can pay off student loans for the rest of my life.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

{{{{{{{{{{vw}}}}}}}}}}} you'll get it figured out.

Because books.

Huh. Stephen just returned from his HR appointment, and filling out numerous papers. Also, they cut his hair for the drug test. They actually told him they'd be able to distinguish between substances, so not to worry if he'd had a poppyseed muffin or something. How...high tech.

Unrelated to this, I am craving a milkshake.

Edited because my lovely husband is a him not an it.

finshed all my application stuff for a job I probbably don't want. But interviewing is good and they may have possiblities in the future that are better than I have now.

Blerg.

Time to fed ex and grocery shop. Sadly, there might be one or two of you that are envious.

Librarian Warlord

-t, I'm sorry about your MiL. While Beatings from Bitches are very helpful, I think that H should probably have a little talk with her so she knows not to say hurtful things. (I'm a firm believer in spouses take care of unpleasant things each with their own parents. Thus when my MiL made comments about children, I made my DH step in so she couldn't blame it on me.)

vw, you will get this figured out -- you haven't made any mistakes yet, and you might possibly be going through the process of keeping yourself from making one, but that's a good thing. {{}}

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I had a lovely time with you! It was interesting to have someone cut my hair who was enjoying it, not just snipping through to the next customer.

It is common at the F2F to come away feeling flashes of regret that you didn't get to spend enough time with this person or that person. Conversely, though, circumstances oftentimes pull you into the company of somebody new and it turns out to be a blast. Such was my AmyLiz time. Plus I had an excuse to play with your hair all weekend.

I also had unexpected bonus time with smonster and amyth (since my houseguests Kate and SA both have close connections with the NCistas) and that was a huge treat.

More JZ time would have been even better, though.

I know! I hardly saw her myself over the weekend. But I kissed her belly all over this morning so it was nice to get reacquainted.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Eggs scrambled with avocado, feta and cheddar

Pfft. The One True Omlette(TM) is eggs scrambled with avocado and Jarlsberg. (And guess what cheese I bought yesterday, for omlettes tomorrow? Uh huh.)

Beej, you have all my sympathy on the mono. I've had it twice, and it's annoying as hell. All you can really do is rest as much as possible and ride it out.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I love my kids, but OMG yes.
