Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I had a lovely time with you! It was interesting to have someone cut my hair who was enjoying it, not just snipping through to the next customer.
It is common at the F2F to come away feeling flashes of regret that you didn't get to spend enough time with this person or that person. Conversely, though, circumstances oftentimes pull you into the company of somebody new and it turns out to be a blast. Such was my AmyLiz time. Plus I had an excuse to play with your hair all weekend.
I also had unexpected bonus time with smonster and amyth (since my houseguests Kate and SA both have close connections with the NCistas) and that was a huge treat.
More JZ time would have been even better, though.
I know! I hardly saw her myself over the weekend. But I kissed her belly all over this morning so it was nice to get reacquainted.
Eggs scrambled with avocado, feta and cheddar
Pfft. The One True Omlette(TM) is eggs scrambled with avocado and Jarlsberg. (And guess what cheese I bought yesterday, for omlettes tomorrow? Uh huh.)
Beej, you have all my sympathy on the mono. I've had it twice, and it's annoying as hell. All you can really do is rest as much as possible and ride it out.
You and Suzi both seemed to be enjoying your holiday from Mom responsibilities.
I love my kids, but OMG yes.
Woot! It's 2:30 and I'm goin' home. Of course, the office closed 2 hours ago, but still! Leaving early!
I think this pizza I had had feta in it. At least, I think that's the funny-tasting, slightly tangy cheese.
funny-tasting
FYI, It's spelled "y-u-m-m-y - t-a-s-t-i-ng"!
This is why I lost the sixth-grade spelling bee.
No, wait, that was
translate.
Also, I just had a conversation about television with my co-workers. How awesome is that? I told one of them to watch VM because he claimed
Boston Legal
was too good for network TV, and I'm all, "Bitch, let me tell you about too good for network TV..." To my surprise, he'd actually heard of the show! And heard that it was good! I told him he was ahead of most people.
There was also some
Serenity
discussion that I posted about in the FF thread.
Very quiet day here. Dave and I worked on cover letters for him for a while, and then I paid my bills. We're headed over to T's tonight instead of going out. I like days like this.
{{{Beej}}} Quick recovery~ma.
{{{vw}}} No more headaches or stuffiness for you. I decree it. Also, good luck with the loan. You're education is worth it; it will work out.

askye, that coworker definitely deserves a cluesticking, and I adore JZ's suggestion.
{{{Nora and Tom}}} So sorry about the insurance stuff.

I feel completely sad that I somehow knew that Hec was doing Buffista haircuts one day, and that AmyLiz was on the haircutting schedule, and utterly failed to add the two together and figure out that I could've gone home for lunch on Monday and gotten one last dose of F2Fness. I blame the Halloweenie.

Pfft. Onions, mushrooms, spinach, cheddar, feta, and maybe fresh tomatoes, or any combination thereof make for One Trueness (with the added bonus of being avocado-free and thus NOT KILLING ME DED) (AND IT IS SO VERY, VERY MUCH ALL ABOUT ME).
