Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've had coffee, but it wasn't quite enough. I've got a BLT now, though -- hopefully the bacon will succeed where the coffee could not.

Gronnnnnnnnnnk.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think you should get a goat.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I've had a goat. It ate my trees.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

But they're yummy in curry!

Trees?

Oh, goat. I've heard that. I may try it someday. After lamb. I'm funny about "cute" animals, though I have eaten rabbit and/or squirrel, I don't quite recall which...small wild rodent in stew with dumplings, anyway.

Mostly lurking...

Poor Deena! Poor Gloomcookie!

I am back home and have put the living room back together. I'm askeered to start on the rest of the place. Also, exhausted.

Bastet seems to have taken the whole thing in stride, and is now back on her throne, sleeping. I think she found going to J's house an adventure. Oh, and there were flowers there that she could eat. She loved that! Hopefully she won't start puking them up till Emily gets home. (Yes, I'm evil.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm funny about "cute" animals, though

Every so often, I am in a surly mood and decide that I must eat something cute. Usually it ends up being a bunny or a duckie....

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Timelies. And gronk, too. I slept nine hours straight last night. I think it's partially made up for the sleep deficit I racked up in SF. It appears to be holding the Ick in abeyance, so I will try that again tonight. If possible. For now, must to find coffee.

Librarian Warlord

Deena, can you ask a neighbor about borrowing a lawn mower? Pick the right neighbor, possibly taking your lovely children with you, and s/he might just offer to take care of if for you!

I have had coffee. I'm awake, but uninspired. I have an appointment in 25 minutes with the computer folks to transfer my files to the new email server. I doubt them when they say "it should only take a few minutes."

Sparky, I did... and she'd just broken hers the day before. Curse my lack of timeliness!

It's really not bad, honest and true. I have to get back out there now though. Aidan's been corralled in his bed for nap time and Kara's relaxing in front of the TV. Prime trimmin' time!
