So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Gronk.

You know, the worst part about having a baby who is sick over the weekend is that if you need to have them checked (her temp spiked to Really Quite Insanely High last night, and she'd been puking) to rule out things like ear infections, you have to go to the ER.

Where you will sit for nine million years, because it's a Saturday night, and there are children who have been busy splitting open their chins and having asthma issues and breaking limbs and your kid's floppy, but not in need of immediate attention.

I would like a do-over of this whole last week, please.

{{{Plei}}} How is Lily feeling now?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would like a do-over of this whole last week, please.

How about just amnesia? I had a sucky week (but not sick-baby-ER sucky--ow!) and really don't think I could do it again much better. It should just be erased as I propel myself forwards.

What is even happening?

Oh, Plei. How's the baby, now? What did the ER say?

Am ded of teh cute. Ellie is just adorable!

Andi, your setup for Harvey sounds fantabulous and I am terribly jealous. I could do something like that here, but while it might keep the eagles from carrying off the cats, I don't think it would keep the eagles from killing them.

Much health ~ma and dealing ~ma to Plei, Lily and ita. Is Lily doing any better?

We are trying to gather the materials to make an enclosure that would allow the cats to be outside without harnesses and leads. It would have to be covered, which would do the trick against the eagles. The ultimate fantasy for this would be a giant enclosure like they do for birds of prey at zoos, tall enough to go over trees. This level of structure would likely cost more than the house did.

Alas, I rent and I'm pretty sure my landlord wouldn't go for this. It would do the trick against eagles, though. Perhaps I could talk them into it in back.

She's better. I'm still trying to get my mother to come watch her tomorrow, so she has an additional day in which to recover. Personally, I'd like one of my own (day in which to recover), but it's not happening any time soon.

Plus, somehow, in the last week or so of high temps and me being really busy, EVERYTHING I'd planted in the parking strip died.

I give up.

Amnesia sounds good.

I'm glad Lily is feeling better, but sorry about the dead plants. It sounds like amnesia is well and truly in order.
