has been simultaneous fun and dreadful day.
Fun: having lunch with the MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN SAN FRANCISCO OMG. (though that superlative is going to get a workout now that the 'ffistas are streaming into town)
Also fun: Meeting lots of awesome people like beth and erika and Laura and Pete and Jilli and Fay and AnneW and amyparker (OMG!!!!) and Suzi and Toddson and seeing familiar and friendly faces like DX and Hec and Deborah.
Dreadful: well, I've gone into the big reason already. Also, grappa.
Dreading: this fucking engineer mandatory dinner thing tonight. I SO want to bail on it. Like a lot.

Yeah, because already, I can't narrow it down. I guess you're having lunch all by yourself, Nora.
the answer to this particular question is: juliana.
she's so pretty I had to say it twice!
Note to erika, holy shit, your hair looks GREAT! That's awesome color and I love the dress! (from Laura's picture link in Natter).
So, so envious of the pretty, pretty people getting to hang with other pretty people.
On the quizzes -- I got 106 out of 111 on the first, and 89 out of 89 on the second one.
Uhh.. pesto sauce isn't something that has to be cooked, is it? I mean, I got a tub of it from the grocery store, it is well within the sell-by date, and I just threw it in on some penne pasta with assorted veggies for a salad. I didn't just give myself salmonella, did I?
Tummy feeling weird. Brain feeling paranoid.
Pesto is basil, garlic, pine nuts, and olive oil all mooshed up together. No, it does not require heating in any way.
No cooking for pesto. You'll be fine, Andi.
