[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

On the quizzes -- I got 106 out of 111 on the first, and 89 out of 89 on the second one.

Uhh.. pesto sauce isn't something that has to be cooked, is it? I mean, I got a tub of it from the grocery store, it is well within the sell-by date, and I just threw it in on some penne pasta with assorted veggies for a salad. I didn't just give myself salmonella, did I?

Tummy feeling weird. Brain feeling paranoid.

Pesto is basil, garlic, pine nuts, and olive oil all mooshed up together. No, it does not require heating in any way.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

No cooking for pesto. You'll be fine, Andi.

In fact, you're specifically not supposed to heat pesto, as it wilts the basil.

Ok, thanks for reassuring me. It could be just that I needed more protein. Or? I'm a spaz.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Nora, try to think pf it the way I do when I have to go to deadly BF work functions: you go so Tom will have someone fascinating to talk to.

Okey dokey, I'm feeling better now. In retrospect, it may have been an unripe fruit tummy ache.

heh. yeah, usually. Today I am not so fascinating. Today I want to be in bed. But I'm in the Bestest City on the Planet and I have to Make Nice with Work Folks (who I do actually like). I feel very grief-y and raw.

I will be OK though. I will choose to go or choose not to go.

So, so envious of the pretty, pretty people getting to hang with other pretty people.

Wrod. To make myself feel a little better, I'm taking tomorrow off, although I will have to come in for a meeting. Travel safely to all travelling to F2F, and, although I know you need no encouragement, have a great time for me! Hugs to all that I can't hug in person.

Much punctuation to those who need it, and congrats to Aimee (and the University of Phoenix is a real school, which you'll find out when you start the work).
