I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Online. Which, kinda feels like cheating right now and that I'm "buying" a degree, until it was pointed out to me that I'll be working even harder than I would have (or, in fact, did) in a "real" school because I'm also working full time and raising a child and that EVERYONE who has a degree, bought it to some extent. So, I looked at the coursework and liked it a lot and....here I go!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Not necessarily sheer, but...lip gloss, so not as not-sheer as lipstick, y'know? I want to be able to put it on with no mirror, and not be TOO paranoid about drawing outside the lines, if that makes sense. Looking online at Sephora, Clinique looks like they might have some nice colors, but so hard to tell, really...

If they still make it, try their Almost Lipstick. I think ita swears by the Black Honey.

The Terra Tints tinted lip balm in Garnet (see your local Whole Foods for details) is what I've been using. It's a little more sheer than the other Terra Tints shades, and gives a nice Your Lips But Better look.

Oh, and the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Rhubarb may also suit you. Erinaceous turned me on to it, and it's nice.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Aimee - I have felt that way about a few classes. Just marking time to get my grade. But most of my classes have required WORK. Hard work. My current Econ class is killing my brain.

If you have any questions, let me know. I might even be able to save you on some books. But ya know what, we can talk about it TONIGHT!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Go, Aimee! W00t w00t!!

If you ever need to ask anything (or just bitch) about going to school online, fire away -- I've taken a bunch of online classes before, work (some) with them at work, and am applying to an online grad program. It's absolutely real work and real learning, and don't let anyone tell you it's not "real" school.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think ita swears by the Black Honey.

It is great. I'm also addicted to the Braisin Impossibly Glossy. Less sheer, more shine. A lot more shine. I wish they had a Black Honey equivalent in that line. I also picked up the Cream Soda, but it's almost exactly my lip colour (untanned) so it's a bit of a waste of money. Testing on my hand teaches me not much, and I don't want to put the tester stuff on my lips, no matter what cleaning stuff they have around.

Mostly lurking...

At some point during watching the Ellen show, Emily asked me to make her some tea (I had offered earlier). I went and dumped out the tea pot, got fresh water, and put it on the stove.

20 minutes later, Em asked about the tea.

I hadn't turned the stove on. And, I promptly forgot about it.

About 10 minutes ago, I asked Emily if I could get her anything while I was up. She asked if we had ramen, so I put on the water, double-checked to make sure the stove was on, and came and sat back down.

Several minutes went by, and I heard water boiling. I looked at Emily and said, "Are you making more tea?" She's like, "What? No, you're making me ramen."

Could whoever has taken my brain please return it as soon as possible. I kinda need it.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Sorry! I was too excited to get you here, and I accidentaly only transported your brain.

God damn that Joe. He forgot to fix the whole body button. Again.

You still have your tits, right?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I looked at Emily and said, "Are you making more tea?"

"I've got a great idea for a sitcom. You take Guy Pearce's character in Memento, see..."

Lemme check.

Yup. Still there. That Joe is tricksy. I was afraid he may have hid them.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

In a sheer, color but not shimmer, I like Lorac. Which I've been getting at Sephora. Can't remember the color's name, and I forgot it today. Highly recommend.

edit to clarify: that's in response to meara's lip gloss question.

Congrats on school Aimee! ~ma for school, SA! Apartment~ma for vw and Emily!

Hugs and -ma all around for anybody I've forgotten!

Now I'm caught up and must go back to this "work" everyone seems so excited about.
