Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

OK, I need help: I had a beautiful perfect lipgloss color, from Sephora. I LOST it. Dunno where it went. And when I went back to Sephora (hadn't been in months and months) they'd changed the colors!

And because I lost the old one, I can't compare colors in other brands. I spent like, 45 minutes wandering around Ulta (it's near work, Sephora isn't) yesterday trying to find a good color, and none of them worked. HELP! I'm willing to hit a department store or Sephora or whatever--can anyone recommend a brand I could find there that would have a lipglossy type thing that is shiny (because, "gloss") but not sparkly (which I feel is very 15 year old on me). Sephora made theirs glittery. Bleah. I want something that is fairly natural looking on me--just looks like my lips a little bit darker/more solid--pinky mauvey color, basically.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

(((Beej))) Though, honestly, IMO the only thing the universe is trying to tell you is that American men are, almost without exception, totally stupid about practically everything even remotely tangentially connected to health care.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ok, I've been Googling spider bites . I may have to rethink my "Spiders are our friends" policy. It turns out that it is all too likely, that the wacky swelling issues I've been having for the last couple weeks are due to sac spider bites .

White-fonted for mention of the s-word.

ETA: I'm also gonna have to really vacuum the bedroom. Often. A lot even.

Our wings are not tired

Gahhhhh. I'm in theatres again tonight for final adjustments on three different shows. I'm watching each of them for at least the 6th time. I am so bored. I want to be prepping for the F2F.

Well, as a nation, policy-wise, we're definitely Teh Stupid, but IIRC from a couple of studies that have been done on it, men are generally worse than women at getting regular check-ups, following up on nagging issues as long as they're not obviously life-threatening, etc. And the men I've known have been absolutely typical in this regard.

Herding cats for fun

Poor Beej. I've felt your feverish pain all too recently. I had to have an antibiotic shot into my butt and everything. And then I got the flu. Fun times, you bet.

Erin, I am glaring at the direction I imagine the boy to be and frowning a terrible frown at him. That'll show him.

Gud, I sneaked over to my sister's house today and threw away some of the water-damaged crap in the back yard. Bet she'll never notice.
