I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

Gahhhhh. I'm in theatres again tonight for final adjustments on three different shows. I'm watching each of them for at least the 6th time. I am so bored. I want to be prepping for the F2F.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

You could actually lose some letters there

Well, as a nation, policy-wise, we're definitely Teh Stupid, but IIRC from a couple of studies that have been done on it, men are generally worse than women at getting regular check-ups, following up on nagging issues as long as they're not obviously life-threatening, etc. And the men I've known have been absolutely typical in this regard.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I want something that is fairly natural looking on me--just looks like my lips a little bit darker/more solid--pinky mauvey color, basically.

In a gloss? Sheer or not?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sorry that so many Bitches are having a tough day today. {{{Bitches}}} The universe should back off now.

Herding cats for fun

Poor Beej. I've felt your feverish pain all too recently. I had to have an antibiotic shot into my butt and everything. And then I got the flu. Fun times, you bet.

Erin, I am glaring at the direction I imagine the boy to be and frowning a terrible frown at him. That'll show him.

Gud, I sneaked over to my sister's house today and threw away some of the water-damaged crap in the back yard. Bet she'll never notice.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just discovered I am out of eyeliner and mascara. What's good that can be bought at Target?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Beej--wait, I am not sure what you are mad at the guy about. Did he know he had this infection and just didn't tell you? Or did you want him to ask his doctor for extra antibiotics for you or something? Because my BF loves me to death and I know he would never do anything like that for me, due to his ethical standadrds.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

The good - No more work until next Wednesday!!!!!!!

The bad - I have to complete 3 homework assignments tonight before I can PLAY.

The ugly - well, I haven't packed anything, my house is a mess, and both DH and my mom are giving me grief over wanting to cut outta here (gee, wonder why I wanna run away for a bit).

Compassionately intolerant

No sleep for me. Bah.

And thanks for the good thoughts everyone. JZ and Cindy, I'm in complete agreement about the America-men less than brilliance about health in general. I've certainly experienced that phenomenon plenty.

Katrina! A shot and THEN the flu?!? Good lord...what a trial. I sooo feel your pain, in every way.

Those are good questions Robin. I'm upset that, despite being completely aware of my financial situation and the incredible amount of money I've spent trying to rid myself of the incredible crud that it turns out he has been re-infecting me with while not taking care of himself (completely unintentionally, of course) it did not occur to the bf to try and help when he discovered the source of my illness. I absolutely did not want him to lie to the doctor (which I think he ultimately did) but I did expect that he'd at least seek a solution.

He has this disgusting snorking sound he makes pretty much constantly. Sinuses, and spitting. It's just plain gross. For months I've been begging him to get it checked out because it didin't seem normal. As JZ theorized, he simply did not take care of it. If he had, this whole shebang could have been avoided.

So no, I don't blame him for making me sick, but I do wish he'd dealt with it sooner and had thought about me in the process.
